Tis the Season for Snuggling

Its cold outside, that is a fact (unless you live in a lovely tropical area then in that case never mind) but for most of us this is the season where the weather gets cold and we do not want to leave our homes. I just want to snuggle up in my room under my blankets with the heater on and never leave. The only problem with this (other than the fact that I am an adult with responsibilities that cannot be preformed from the comfort of my home) is that heaters cause your electric bill to skyrocket! I mean really! It is ridiculous how much your bill goes up when you rely on a heater for warmth

This is why I recommend investing in a heated blanket. Its cheaper and warmer because you are getting that direct heat instead of having to wait for your room to warm up. Of course, it makes it harder to get out of bed but we will deal with that when the time comes.

There are a lot of options out there. The cheapest option I have found is a Sunbeam Heated Fleece Electric blanket for $29.96 from Walmart.

Of course it is only a twin size, bigger sizes are more expensive, but if it is just for you then it is fine! It comes in nine colors: Seashell, Slate, Garnet, Mushroom, Acorn, Newport Blue, Walnut, Lagoon, and Ivy.

If you’re feeling fancy and want to upgrade you could opt for the $139.99 Thermal Zone Fleece Blanket from L.L Bean for a queen size blanket. The only difference is it’s body mapping technology (not sure what that means). It comes in six colors: Baltic Blue, Flag Blue, Ivory, Pale Moss, Sea Grass and Wheat.

I really don’t see that big of a difference. I think it is just a brand thing. All I know is you can order both online!
