I recently got an invitation to attend a thirty-one party. I have never been to one before but have heard a lot about the company and the products. A very close friend of mine wants to propose to his girlfriend. I am so excited for them! They make the perfect couple and I am so excited that they are taking their relationship to the next level. He is very nervous and has enlisted my help (since I am a woman) to help him out. He wants everything to be perfect from the proposal to the engagement ring.

I am helping him choose the ring that he is going to buy. I found these beautiful ornate engagement ring that I know she will love. I picked the one shown above and am going to show it to him later this evening. I know he will fall in love with it as well.

Since he wants the perfect proposal, I want to help him out in his plan to pop the big question. I have been looking everywhere for ideas that involve a creative and romantic proposal.

I love reading in the summer. I can sit outside for hours (of course with some SPF sunscreen, shades, and a hat!) and read in the beautiful weather. I love all kinds of books from mystery to love stories. Some of my favorite authors include Nicholas Sparks, Elin Hildebrand, Janet Evanovich, Nora Roberts, and Danielle Steel.

I’ve been looking around online for some of the 2012 summer must reads. I like to pick out some of my must-reads at the beginning of summer so that I remember to set aside time to read them all!

One of the books that I can’t wait to read that I found in this article is titled, “The Red House.” It is told over seven days’ time and is told by a newly married doctor who invites his sister and her family to spend a week during summer in the English countryside. It says that it contains twists and turns involving family dynamics.

I am helping to plan a baby shower and I can’t wait. My sister-in-law is expecting a baby boy in July and we are having the shower in June. Hopefully the baby doesn’t decide to make an appearance too early!

I’m going to share some games that I found online that are different from the traditional games that are played at almost all of the other baby showers. I want this one to be fun and unique!

Baby Bingo- Give the guests at the shower a blank Bingo sheet. Have them fill out gifts that they believe the mom will receive for the baby. They can cross each item off as the mom opens it and whoever gets a Bingo first wins!

Feeling Rattled?- For this game, string a clothesline across the room hanging various baby items on it. You can hang bibs, socks, diapers, onesies, and blankets. During the middle of the party, take down all of the items and ask people to write down the order of the baby items. See who can remember the most and they will receive a prize!

This Sucks- Hand everybody a bottle filled with juice, water, milk, or punch and have a chugging contest. First one to finish gets a prize!

I have a new obsession and want to share it will my readers: Groupon! This is a fantastic website that offers coupons for a variety of things. I’ve used Groupon to get everything from magazine subscriptions, dinners, comedy  club tickets, and more. You can find great deals on services, shows, concerts, and even vacations. I’ve saved anywhere from 50%-80% off of retail price from the Groupons I’ve purchased.

The best thing about this site is that you can customize it to YOUR location and interests. When you first sign up for Groupon they will ask you about your location so that they can send you offers that can be used and are effective in your area. There are also around 35-40 different “interests” that you can look through and choose from so that the offers that get sent to you are customized to your interests.

We have used Groupon to spice up our dates and find new things to do around our area. We have discovered great places and events that we never would’ve known to exist without Groupon!

Wedding planning can be a pain. Don’t get me wrong, it’s very fun to plan out your big day, but it definitely has its obstacles, that’s for sure! It can be stressful to have to plan out the ceremony, attire, reception, invitations, and more. I’m glad I knew the kind of wedding bands we wanted right away. The wedding bands are the most important of all and they are a symbol and token of the love and marriage that two people share.

I do what I can to protect my eyes from the harsh chemicals that a lot of eye make-up removers contain. I found a perfect eye make-up remover called “Sens’Eyes” and it is my new favorite product. It’s gentle and great at removing even the toughest eye make-up. Once you try it, it’ll be your go-to beauty product as well!

I love Summer and everything about it. Well, almost everything about it. My least favorite thing about summer is the effect and damage it has on my hair. I spend a lot of time and money during the year to make sure it stays damage free. When summer comes around, the sun, chlorine, and salt water have a horrible negative effect on my soft hair. Those elements dry it out and ruin it.
